Is it worth the investment?

Postby shadoreavr » Mon Oct 09, 2017 4:56 am

So I acquired a DC's The Demon #1 CGC graded at a 7.5 for 75.00. On the label it states "Jack Kirby" written in pen on inside of first page. If this is in fact a Jack Kirby Sig and i had the booked pressed( its a great looking book and would prolly get up to a 8.0 maybe even an 8.5 of the comic gods were smiling) How much value would it bring to the book? would it be worth the time and investment to go through that?(yes i am considering resale value as its not a book for my personal collection) Thanks for any and all advice!

Although I'm not overly familiar with the market, I would say yes. Kirby's a great sig to have and highly sought after from what I've gleaned. Even without the sig, if you can bump up the book 1 or 2 grades I think it would be worth it.

Yeah, I would crack and press and send it to CBCS to get a red label verified. Kirby sigs are better than Stan Lee imo. And I’m not really a Kirby fan.
