WRITER: Hilary Bader ARTIST: Joe Staton Shoutout to Jason Shaw and his ‘Last to Know’ column for this one. 1st appearance of Inque. In April this was basically a $1 to cover price book. A couple of weeks ago there was a $20 sale. Now it is $40-50 and a 9.8 just sold for $230.
WRITER: Robert Kirkman ARTIST: Charlie Adlard 191 is getting $15-20 and 192 is getting $10-15 (although they are in stock for $6 at Midtown)….my question is, does anyone even care anymore? Is this going to be the end of this series soon?
WRITER: Various ARTIST: Various Pretty funny play on words to be honest. But still, $80-100?? Anyway, what is everyone's thoughts on these political books? Will they keep making them? Will they hold any long term value?
WRITER: Luke Lieberman ARTIST: Fritz Casas Went from $25 to $35 to $55. Not an easy book to find but come on, this cover is a Sir Mix-A-Lot fave. This is rated ‘Teen’? Pretty sure i wasn’t allowed to see this readily when i was 13 lol.
WRITER: Al Ewing ARTIST: Joe Bennett That was a mouthful to type out for a book title…anyway, was selling around $30-40 and is now up to $50-55. And yes, I know everyone hates this ratio later printing concept, but is it really any different than all the store variants doing Virgin copies of older books (which I dislike as well)?
WRITER: Gus Fink ARTIST: Laura Pendl Easily selling right now for $10-15. This is another book that I am not really familiar with. It looks like a kids book, but maybe not because of the concept? Please comment below on what you think of this one.
WRITER: Michael Gallagher ARTIST: Tim Kennedy Clearly rising on the heels of #28 (which by the way is almost a $200 book now). This one has seen multiple sales $10+ and an oddball $70 sale. BOLO any and all B&V books!!
WRITER: Brian Michael Bendis ARTIST: Michael Gaydos
Bendis said that movie news would be in the letters section in issue #10. This caused interest in this book this week and sales jumped to $10-15. We shall see what this news is soon.
WRITER: Various ARTIST: Sheldon Moldoff The old severed head in the lake cover…6.5 sold this week for $1400. A 5.5 sold last month for $900 and a 4.0 sold in March for $500. Keep in mind that in 2012, a pedigree 9.2 sold for only $1135 and a 4.5 sold in 2016 for just $180.
