#CBSIBOLO List For NCBD 4/17/19

What Is The #CBSIBOLO List?

The Bolo List was created, initially, as an Instagram exclusive piece of content I dubbed comics cliff notes. A cheat sheet of sorts, the purpose of the Bolo list is to give CBSI Nation the most up to date information as LCS doors open on NCBD.

The Bolo list is not a list of books you should buy or books that will rise in value.  It's simply a reporting of what we are seeing in social media response and chatter, talk within our community, initial ebay sales, as well as communication with retailers and posted online spoilers.

Similarly,  every 1st appearance in a given week may not be covered. We only list first appearances that are confirmed first hand or by multiple reputable sources PRIOR to NCBD. No delentiation will be made for full vs. Cameo Appearance as it is for the market to decide and that can not be done until after the books have hit on release day.

The Bolo List is ⅓ of CBSI's NCBD attack with Simpleman's Weekly Picks and The Wednesday One. I am very happy to be bringing the Bolo List to ComicBookInvest.Com and all our readers. Be sure to follow us on IG (@comicbookinvestcbsi) for other Exclusive CBSI BOLO content.

Mad Cave Sneak Previews

Previews collectors are growing more and more by the day.  Mad Cave does a great job putting out Preview issues of all their upcoming #1s. Both Knights of the Golden Sun and Honor and Curse #1 are grossly undervalued. BOLO and ask your LCS if they have one.

Valkyrie

Between the upcoming solicit of a Valkyrie ongoing series and the events of Today’s War of Realms #2, the MCU version of the character becomes that much more important. There is no debating this character. We KNOW she will be in the movies. Most will go to Exiles #2 and the 1:10 but I like the #1 Design Variant 1:10 Incentive which features her on the cover (as well as other #1 incentives).  Also Bolo on the Exiles #5 Variant which has a great portrait shot. All these books are good buys now.

Good Luck CBSI Wednesday Warriors!

And apparently Valkyrie looks to be in Avengers Endgame.

Don’t forget that awesome Razzah 1:25 variant for Exiles #9. That’s my favorite MCU Valkyrie cover and not easy to find

I hope they bring back the Ultimate Valkyrie from The Ultimates, who initially was part of The Defenders who had no super-powers, as that character was a fun read.

Thank you for doing these every week

Looks like you may need to do another one but with Jane foster books too

I respect the BOLO list. I respect Jack DeMayo. I love you on YouTube with Brian from Simpleman’s comics. The YouTube version is a success. It works! I’m an avid weekly watcher . Love, love, how many times can I say love it. Seriously, that much.

This print version on the other hand. Doesn’t help me. Not bold enough. For example, we all know that Agent-X and TS Iron Man had first appearances this week.

I get it, you don’t want to be wrong, right? But you don’t want to be right, am I wrong, if it’s not right or wrong? Or maybe it’s someone else’s place to be wrong and not yours to be right?

Some over-speculating app is better suited to call the first appearances? Spider Bite anyone?

Well okay, another comic book speculation site that is seemingly taboo on first appearances, yay!

Please don’t be discouraged by my cynicism. I wish you the very best!

    Cheers,

For all you Star Wars buffs out there, this came out yesterday…first issue was pretty good.

Star Wars: Tie Fighter #1 – 1st appearance of Yrica Quell
There’s a nice Jeff Langevin Character variant that has Quell on the cover
