Harpy is coming to Immortal Hulk series.

All it takes is a single IG post and then BOOM…

First appearance is IH 168 and within about an hour of this post Ebay was completely wiped out of INCREDIBLE HULK #168

For those with access to vintage back issues, this could be a great time to get them to market.

Will the prices last or is this  a flash in the pan?  All I know is that Immortal Hulk news always seems to send the comic scene into a fury…

Thanks to Gary Nusser on the CBSI G+ Page for the heads up on this.  What were mistakenly thought to be rumors, were reinforced today with the post on Instagram.

This series is going to go off the charts, it’s getting better and better each issue. I had to increase my comic subscription.

Harpy is a flashback. She is not the new Betty. Read the solicitations and it doesn’t read like Harpy. But I know nothing.

Y’all are jumping on the wrong book. My gut tells me you need to be getting Incredible Hulk #604…it fits in more with the storyline.

Lol, I think I have one in a long box somewhere with my other Hulk back issues. I love the FOMO feeling I get everytime some news breaks out.

The immortal red harpy….comming at you.

Im just the messenger. I think folks can cash in if they have the 168, but I honestly can not see any of this Immortal stuff being relevant a year from now as Marvel reboots and reboots then tried to Legacy number etc…

I have to agree with you. Even though Immortal Hulk with the Ross covers will always be held in high regard it is only a matter of time before a new team is given control of the book. Odds are it won’t be as good and the series will probably taper off a bit. Ya never know, but I don’t think the series will hold its max value for long. At least short term. Don’t get me wrong the series has legs and a strong following. These books won’t become worthless. They just might not stay has hot as they are now. Personally, I think thirty years form now many of these Ross covers will be looked at as we look at Adams bronze age Batman covers now.

Interesting points. I remember 5 years ago the Adams Batman covers were all but dreck. So was Bronze for the most part.

Gone are the days of cheap Bronze Keys I fear. The game now is to pinpoint what Copper is truly undervalued and tougher to find.

So many early to mid 80s books just sat and got wrecked in .50 and dollar boxes for so many years. I think its why books like that 1st Ratcatcher in 585(Tec?) is spiking in grade, they simply got beat up for too long.

Been wanting to compliment the “stealie”. In regards to IH, I was out the comic scene for a while( 25 years) and am bored with most Marvel titles after returning. However, Im going “all in” on this one. I hear the most random ass dudes coming into shops looking for any IH back issues and our local main flipper (Pete from Warren Wilson) who doesnt read IH (caught him in a lie) is hungry for my Ross extras of course. He is inspiration for my aspiring comic called FLIPPERS. Its about the different types of flippers and the comic characters in quests to be opened and read.

thanks, had a couple shirts made of the stealie 🙂

LOL, there is certainly a difference in folks out there buying, some are buying extra to flip and pay for their hobby, others who are just crashing shops looking for the quick buck amuse me.

In the end, spending all that time, effort, gas money and money on comics, you, if you never mess up, are making a couple bucks on your time. I cant fathom thats sustainable opposed to folks that are buying what they like as well as digging through bins to cover their reading or investing habits…

Glad this book is heating up. I have owned mine for a whole week! Bought it for $10 as a fine. I don’t think it would get lower than a 7.0 if I sent it in. Maybe as high as a 7.5. I love ridiculously strict graders!

Sold my IH run with the Zaffino #2 for a tidy profit, its just amazes me how the prices are going mad, I’m still buying for reading as the runs very good, but how many comics do you need sitting around in long boxes? .. I’m only collecting older keys nowadays, but if copies of IH craze make me money to buy those keys, I’m happy. Great read, crazy prices, mad world, but there’s no place to be right now than in COMICS

I’m like you Nightrob. Bought a couple IH 168’s because of the possible speck a few weeks ago and now am gonna hopefully sell them for profit. One of them is a Mark Jewelers variant so should do well I think.

Yeah, the MJ variant should do great. Can’t believe the price hikes on these over non Movie/TV news. Glad to see Immortal Hulk doing well though. It really is a good series.
