#CBSIBOLO List For NCBD 2/27/19

What Is The #CBSIBOLO List?

The Bolo List was created, initially, as an Instagram exclusive piece of content I dubbed comics cliff notes. A cheat sheet of sorts, the purpose of the Bolo list is to give CBSI Nation the most up to date information as LCS doors open on NCBD.

The Bolo list is not a list of books you should buy or books that will rise in value.  It's simply a reporting of what we are seeing in social media response and chatter, talk within our community, initial ebay sales, as well as communication with retailers and posted online spoilers.

Similarly,  every 1st appearance in a given week may not be covered. We only list first appearances that are confirmed first hand or by multiple reputable sources PRIOR to NCBD. No delentiation will be made for full vs. Cameo Appearance as it is for the market to decide and that can not be done until after the books have hit on release day.

The Bolo List is ⅓ of CBSI's NCBD attack with Simpleman's Weekly Picks and The Wednesday One. I am very happy to be bringing the Bolo List to ComicBookInvest.Com and all our readers. Be sure to follow us on IG (@comicbookinvestcbsi) for other Exclusive CBSI BOLO content.

Naomi #1 Cover A and B

Admittedly I slept on Naomi early, but no longer. More and more mainstream media attention is coming in on this character and it really seems DC has eyes on her being their Riri Williams or Miles Morales. Either way, cheap copies are drying up. Today is the day to grab the remaining cover price copies from your LCS before you wish you did.

Cosmic Ghost Rider

Last week we talked about the effect Donny Cates has had on Venom back issues. This week with the release of the GOTG #1 2nd Print we look at Cosmic Ghost Rider. With him obviously here to stay with several titles involving the hot new character and his creator going so far as to ink him on his body, I'm really bullish on CGR. I see mjk muy vany Cover A CGR 1-5 still at cover and below. My gut says that will be a key set I'm years to come and command $50+.  Also later Printings of Thanos #13, much like other keys (EOSV #2 and IM #7) can still be had cheap in later printings. With how Cates back issues blow up, GOTG #1 & 2 as well as any left over CGR and Thanos run should be grabbed off cover price shelves in preparation of market shifts.

Godspeed

One of the most talked about debuts in Rebirth had been The Flash’s nemesis Godspeed. Now with rumors of his appearance on CW's The Flash, Godspeed keys have popped on eBay. While his 1st Appearance will be heavily debated, action is being seen on Flash Rebirth #1 as well as Flash 3,5,6, & 7.  Its time to hit your LCS and empty them out of early Rebirth Flash issues as Godspeed looks to be the big bad who may send our hero into Crisis.

Immortal Hulk

I am not really going out on a limb here in saying Immortal Hulk is hot or that there is money to be made there. We put the Bolo on Avengers #684 and #682 over a month ago when cover price copies were prevalent. Now Avengers #684 has blown up and #682 is trading in that direction as well with solid sales of $15 and a high rate of demand. The last page splash reveal seems to be enough for rabid Immortal Hulk fans to cling to. Avengers #684 may be king of the Immortal Hulk spec game, but don't leave any #682's sitting at cover today at your LCS. Strike while the iron's hot.

Good Luck CBSI Wednesday Warriors!
