1 Hit Monkey #1

WRITER: Daniel Way
ARTIST: Dalibor Talajic
Hulu announced 4 off the wall shows and Hit Monkey might be the most bizarre of any of them.  In any case, what was a $10 book blasted to $40+ for NM copies this week.  Deadpool #19, his 2nd Appearance, shot up as well.  Interesting tidbit, Marvel misspelled the artist's name but corrected it on the 2nd Print.

The long awaited Black Widow movie appears to be in full motion now with cast, location, etc. being announced this week.  All time highs were set this week; 6.5=$1350, 5.0=$650, 2.5=$425.  Hard to find variants may be next to see jumps.

3 These Savage Shores #1

WRITER: Ram V.
ARTIST: Sumit Kumar
So last week, issue #3 dropped and was selling for around $10-15 (and still is).  This was selling around the same, which I found odd.  Well, good for those that found it that cheap as it is now $50+.

This book just keeps coming back.  While the Zaffino variant stayed steady this week, this regular cover increased again, all the way up to $60-70.

5 Captain Marvel (Vol. 11) #2 Chris Bachalo 1:50 Variant

WRITER: Kelly Thompson
ARTIST: Carmen Nunez Carnero
This is definitely an interesting black cover, which should make high grades tougher to obtain.  Along with other Marvel variants this week, it is selling well above ratio at $80-100.  Honestly though, why do we keep getting new Volumes of Captain Marvel?

6 Dead Man Logan #4 Gerardo Zaffino 1:25 Variant

WRITER: Ed Brisson
ARTIST: Mike Henderson
Probably getting additional buzz because of the Immortal Hulk Zaffino variant, DML #4 is selling for $60-70.  Am I the only one that thought he was flipping everyone off at first glance?

7 Avengers: No Road Home #1 Adam Hughes 1:50 Variant

WRITER: Al Ewing, Mark Waid & Jim Zub
ARTIST: Paco Medina
It's been a while since a Hughes cover has been a big hit.  This one, joining all the other Marvel variants, is doing well above ratio with a large number of $60-70 sales.

8 Rai #0

WRITER: Bob Layton
ARTIST: David Lapham
Hmmm…2 weeks ago the Matte version was under $100 and the Glossy was around $300 for 9.8 copies.  All of a sudden, they are selling for $200/400.  Is this just a couple of rabid Valiant fans or an actual upward trend?  Either way, this is a classic 90's cover for sure.

9 Aquaman (Vol. 5) #2

WRITER: Geoff Johns
ARTIST: Ivan Reis
Call me intrigued with a horror-genre ‘Trench' movie.  This 1st Appearance of The Trench King has been getting heat in the $15-20 range.  And for all you variant haters, there are none for this issue.

10 The Devils #1

Reading the premise of this book actually sounds very interesting.  For those who were able to find it this week, please comment on your thoughts.  Selling for $15-20.

Marvel Tales Featuring: Black Widow #1 Jen Bartel 1:50 ‘Virgin' Variant

WRITER: Various
ARTIST: Various
There have only been a couple of these listed, with a couple of sales of $80+.  There can't be very many of these out there, right?  $7.99 cover price, multi-story, 1:50 ratio?

Startling Terror Tales #11

WRITER: Various
ARTIST: L.B. Cole (cover)
There is nothing groundbreaking that I can say about how scary and classic of a cover this is.  I will say that a CGC 3.5 sold this week for $3600.  A 4.0 sold last month for $3000.  A 6.0 sold in 2017 for a paltry $1850.
