1 Batman Who Laughs #1 Warren Louw ‘Virgin' Variant

WRITER: Scott Snyder
The buy-in for the A/B set was $50.  This ‘Virgin' variant is selling for $60+ by itself at the moment.  The OG Harley cover is upwards of $80.  We say we don't like homages, but we seem to keep gobbling them up.

5 Annihilation Conquest: Wraith #1

WRITER: Javier Grillo-Marxuach
ARTIST: Kyle Hotz
A week ago this was a $2 book.  Cool cover, but a $2 book.  This week it is $25-30.  While it is the 1st appearance of Zak-Del as Wraith, I'm not actually sure why the current spike on it.  Yuriko Watanabe was Wraith in the current Spider-Man video game.

#48 is most likely out of a lot of people's reach at this point, so they are now going for the 1st Full appearance of Galactus here.  Record highs ($2500 for a 9.0 and $1000 for a 7.0) are double what they were selling for.

The other characters that had animation variants, Noir, Miles, etc. are not selling near as well as this Gwen variant.  $25 is not bad at all for a 1:10.

9 Die Kitty Die: Heaven and Hell #3 Dan Parent Variant

WRITER: Dan Parent

I have really started to appreciate the work that Dan Parent has been doing.  This is an awesome homage to Bewitched (look it up on YouTube, kids) is impossible to find.  $10+ may not seem like a lot, but I would suggest picking it up if you see it.

So glad I got on the FF 48-50 bandwagon before it became lava hot. Stuck with mid grades, but still, not ever going to complain. I would say the prices have gone insane but to me it seems more of a correction. Silver Surfer and Galactus have been way undervalued for too long. My advice, If anyone has some extra Benjamin’s (wish I did) just sitting around it might be a good time to buy these even at the high prices that are being realized over other keys, even Hulk 181. The second Marvel says these two are headed for a particular movie phase they are going to skyrocket in price more than the past year! Can’t go wrong with these, especially #48 & 49 (#50 still rocks)!!!

Yo Ben, Sugar’s first pro work was a back up story for Goon 27! I believe Pug was her first original project but I could be wrong. Nice work as always!

This! Goon 27 is her first pro work. Pug also was drawn by Sugar. Powell only did the cover.
While we are on the subject of Powell publishing pugs, Grumble is a new Albatross book by Mike Norton, with a pug.
I mean given Rebecca Sugar’s success, an new Albatross pug comic sounds like solid speculation…

Another Stacey Lee cover worth keeping an eye out for is Silk 1 1:25. Which is also her first appearance in costume I think. Beautiful cover, and presumably will absolutely blow up if and when she appears either in a spider-verse sequel or in the MCU
