1 Thanos #13 Rafael Albuquerque 1:25 Variant

WRITER: Donny Cates
ARTIST: Geoff Shaw
Yes, we all are questioning our sanity after an $800 9.8 sale.  $300-400 raw though is right in the ballpark.  Not to mention that many of these copies suffered severe color rub.  I just hope for the buyers out there that Cosmic Ghost Rider stays relevant.

So, I couldn't nail down #65 anymore.  #30 (pictured) and others have skyrocketed.  There are very few listed anymore.  I'm just trying to figure out what happens when all the ones for sale are gone.  Will these move back into ghost territory?

3 All-New Wolverine #2 David Lopez 1:25 Variant

WRITER: Tom Taylor
ARTIST: David Lopez
Wow, a 9.8 just sold for $365.  Not sure the long term future of Gabby, but some people are banking on it at this point.

4 New Mutants Annual #6/New Mutants #99

WRITER: Louise Simonson/Fabian Nicieza
ARTIST: Terry Shoemaker/Rob Liefeld
Thanks Shaun Leggitt for the heads up…I included both here for the sole fact that there are differing opinions on which book is Shatterstar's 1st appearance.  In either case, sales have been brisk since the Deadpool trailer, but remember, massive amounts are out there and this is still just Shatterstar–they may kill him off in the 1st 10 minutes…

5 Black Lightning #1

WRITER: Tony Isabella
ARTIST: Trevor Von Eeden
What makes this comic so Continuing to build on its recent surge, 9.8's have crossed the century mark and 9.6's are in the mid $300's.  See, a great TV show CAN help a book value.

6 Black Panther (Vol. 3) #2

WRITER: Reginald Hudlin
ARTIST: John Romita, Jr.
Extremely positive pre-opening movie buzz is definitely helping this book.  Not sure where they will take Shuri, but this is her 1st appearance and is currently selling for $15-20 raw and 9.8's are pushing $200.

7 X-Men Red #1 Gabriele Dell'Otto Unknown Comics Virgin Variant

WRITER: Tom Taylor
ARTIST: Mahmud Asrar
Don't hate the messenger….This is one of the most head-scratching store variants to date.  Fact is, there may be fewer of these (1000) than the original.  Time will tell if this will hold its value, but right now it is selling for $90-100.

8 Evil Ernie #1

WRITER: Brian Pulido
ARTIST: Steven Hughes
All time high sales have been set in a few different grades the past couple weeks (most notably a 9.4 for $350).  Maybe Khoi Cakes is right, Lady Death and Vampirella are similar?

9 X-Men  #205 J. Scott Campbell Variant

WRITER: Mike Carey
ARTIST: Chris Bachalo
This is neither JSC's best cover nor the hardest to find.  But a Hope Summers rumor that she will appear on the big screen soon has caused this to sell for $300 in 9.8 and raws around $100.

10 Amazing Spider-Man #795

WRITER: Dan Slott
ARTIST: Mike Hawthorne
Whether this is the 1st Appearance of Red Goblin or not (time will tell), this is currently selling for $10-15 out of the gate.

Swamp Thing Winter Special #1

WRITER: Tom King
ARTIST: Jason Fabok
Selling just slightly above the hefty $8 cover price.  But a combination of King/Fabok and it was likely not ordered heavily, could mean good things to come for this book.

Phantom Lady #17

WRITER: Matt Baker
ARTIST: Matt Baker
I can't remember if I included this book before, but I had to this week.  A CGC 2.5 sold for $4300 at auction 2 weeks ago.  I wonder how high the CGC 7.5 on Heritage will go…The market for Good Girl Art and Bondage is exceedingly healthy at the moment.  Jo-Jo Comics, Millie the Model, etc. are all good pickups at the moment.
