1 Gotham City Sirens #1

WRITER: Paul Dini
ARTIST: Guillem March
This has always been an undervalued book.  Bad girl team-up that had some movie news this week caused a healthy spike in interest.  This regular cover is moving for $225+ in 9.8 and the J.G. Jones variant is $650+.  It remains to be seen if this will continue to be THE book to have as there are several very nice covers with Harley, Ivy and Catwoman on them.

2 Thunderbolts (Vol. 3) #7 Marco Chechetto 1:25 Variant

WRITER: Jim Zub
ARTIST: Sean Izaakse
Continuing its strong sales history, raws are now pushing $150.  Some have said that they don't think this is Chechetto's best work, but I actually think the balance of lights/darks with the splash of blood is stunning.

3 Seven To Eternity #1

WRITER: Rick Remender
ARTIST: Jerome Opena
I keep checking to see if this book is going to top out, but it just hasn't.  Now a $50 book for the ‘A' cover, this book has just shown no signs of slowing down.

4 Todd McFarlane SS

WRITER: Various
ARTIST: Various
Ok, so this is probably a Hot 10 first.  This is not an individual book, but any Todd McFarlane SS book (although the $9000 sale of the pictured sketch is what required it to be on the list this week).  One of the sweetest looking sigs out there, Todd's sig instantly adds value to the book.

5 Power Girl #4 Guillem March 1:10 Variant

WRITER: Jimmy Palmiotti
ARTIST: Amanda Conner
Mentioned by Keith a few weeks ago, this one has become a solid mover at $25-30 and up for higher grade copies.

6 Flash (Vol. 2) #108

WRITER: Mark Waid
ARTIST: Oscar Jimenez
1st appearances of TV villains usually doesn't translate very well to comic success.  This one has seemingly gone against the grain, at least for the time being.

7 Savage #1 Lewis LaRosa 1:50 B/W Variant

WRITER: B. Clay Moore
ARTIST: Clayton Henry
A polarizing book the past couple of weeks.  I will not comment on any of the auctions other than to say that after the $880 sale, there have been 2 sub $500 sales–still pretty insane for a 1 month old, non-OA variant.

8 Nova (Vol. 7) #1 Francesco Mattina 1:50 Variant

WRITER: Jeff Loveness
ARTIST: Ramon Perez
Another book Keith mentioned in his Variant Heat Check column, this book is doing quite well at the moment, solely based on the artist (most likely).  Multiple sales in the $60-70 range.

9 Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows (Vol. 2) #2 J. Scott Campbell 1:25 Variant

WRITER: Gerry Conway
ARTIST: Ryan Stegman
Spider-bobble was pre-selling for $65+ but has settled back into the $40-50 range.  Still not a bad turnaround for a brand new, 1:25 variant.

10 Runaways #1

WRITER: Brian K. Vaughan
ARTIST: Adrian Alphona
I haven't heard of any recent news that would have caused this to spike back to $100 again, but there have been multiple sales in that range.  This has been a nice book to have for years, though.

Avengers Arena #14

WRITER: Dennis Hopeless
ARTIST: Kev Walker
23k print run is neither huge nor small, but this gorgeous X-23 cover by Mike Deodato is what is causing this book to sell in the $10-15 range all day.

Sun Bakery #1 Paul Pope 1:25 Variant

WRITER: Corey Lewis
ARTIST: Corey Lewis
Initially speculated on because of the micro print run and it being an incentive variant.  This has regained interest as the title will be coming out as an Image title in February.  Recent sales are back in the $40 range.
