LUKE CAGE #1

Luke Cage, Hero for Hire #1

This should come as no surprise as this premiered on Friday. Mixed reviews can not hold down Power Man. Good thing for those of us holding…

EC COMICS

Tales of Terror Annual 1951

Yep, EC Comics in general. A few real nice slabs and a veritable harem of raw examples hit the market this past week and has collectors and investors scrambling to set new records. It would be a dirty lie if I said I did not have my bids out there as well. Tales of Terror Annual seems to be leading the charge but other titles are not far behind.

SHOWCASE #17

SHOWCASE #17

A lot like Adventure 247 this book is starting to climb again. It seems like an incredible value to me right now and one of the biggest DC “potential” books really left in the market.

LOIS LANE #106

Great cover, FAR AHEAD of it’s time. Finally starting to get real attention as folks conclude that this jet black and very glossy cover is not an easy find in grade.

AVENGERS #4

AVENGERS #4

Not giving up on this book’s ability to keep rising. Prices are consistent and seem safe for now.

Canadian Whites

Despite our resident Podcaster Jimmy Linguini having a secret love affair with them, prices realized in the last online auction were strong to say the least. Whether it’s serious collectors scrambling to secure a copy, or a secret Illuminati from the Great White North controlling the market on these obscure yet seemingly desirable comics, someone is putting up the money, but who?
