STARTLING TERROR OF MISS FURY

 STARTLING TERROR TALES #11

STARTLING TERROR TALES #11

Classic LB Cole Cover.  While some consider this the “Poor Man's Suspense Comics #8”, I think I actually like this cover more than the 8.  For the amount of copies on the census, there is surprisingly on 2 options online.  A low grade auction running right now and a fixed price mid grader.  LB Cole fans are a devoted bunch.

A very healthy 46 copies of this on the CGC census with the average coming out to 5.47 though the top spot is owned by a pair of 9.2s, there is also a pair of 1.5s at the bottom and a single incomplete .5.

 MISS FURY #4

MISS FURY #4

A lesser known Timely issue from the War era.  Strong female cover,  the usual over stereotyped Japanese soldier and a strange green pink and black Nazi flag drawn with the perfection that Tarpe Mills always brought to the table.
27 Universal copies with an average grade of 6.68.  3 9.4s at the top(wow) and a single 1.8 at the bottom of the census.

SHELF DATE of June 1944

As always, thanks for looking, folks!
