The BKV train!

wednesday

One book to rule the week

If you could only choose one comic book to buy from all the new comics being released this Wednesday, what would it be?

Last Week's One

Last week was a dry week no real one took the spotlight but it's a whole new week! Marvel is starting to dish out the new All-New All-Different line, Brian K Vaughn has a new ongoing and maybe there is a couple under the radar, let's take a look!!

This Week's Contenders

Let's see what books are being talked about this week!

Mark H
Promises have been made this is said to be even more impactful than Donatello's shell smashing and with Kirby's only sketch of the turtles as a cover only sweetens the deal, one of the rare issues I have multiple ordered.

STK684793

Public Relations #2

Under the radar Ron Lim Connecting Variant Cover

STK680688

Secret Wars #6

Eddie O
The timing of the re-launch is a little weird with Secret Wars still going strong but that aside this series has been a great read and one of the
best events Marvel has done.

The Wednesday One

PaperGirls1

Paper Girls #1

(W) Brian K. Vaughan (A/CA) Cliff Chang

Price: $2.99

Brian K Vaughn strikes again but the secret is out on this comic legend will the print be too much for it to see a price increase? Time will tell but what we know for sure is we're in for a great read!

Mark H
Read the preview and I was pretty hooked considering it was fairly action free, one cover and BKV. Sure it'll see a price jump for spec but I'm more excited to read it!

Eddie O
I'm going with Paper Girls #1 but I'm also really looking forward to reading this as well. I think it has potential.

Donn L
Because Brian K Vaughan is one of my favorite authors and because saga.

Simon P
without doubt, well looking forward to reading that. I gone big on this book.

Moz S
mintier one for PC and the second to read and sell off in NM/NM- state if/when 2nd printing comes out

Secret Wars continues to be a strong read. That Kirby TMNT will make a nice addition to the PC.

The whole Marvel relaunch while Secret Wars continues isn’t really as crazy as everyone seems to think it is. If you were around way back during the original Secret Wars, you’d remember that Amazing Spiderman 252 (first black costume) came out the exact same month as the FIRST issue of Secret Wars. His costume debut wouldn’t even happen in SW for eight months. Same with changes to the Fantastic Four (She-Hulk returned as a member), Avengers returning, etc.

Apparently this weeks Point One is the first appearance of the new Daredevil “sidekick”, FYI (for investing.)
