BATMAN ADVENTURES #12

BATMAN ADVENTURES #12

1st Appearance Harley Quinn

Sigh…  Auctions keep ending at astronomically high prices.  People can not get enough of HQ, plain and simple.  Somehow the announcement that WW will have a variant for this book as part of a box set at the upcoming convention did not lower prices but set buyers in a deeper frenzy trying to get a copy or two for themselves.

SUPERMAN ADVENTURES #5

SUPERMAN ADVENTURES #5

1st Appearance of Livewire

Brit Morgan has been cast for the role of Livewire in the Supergirl TV Series.  While copies of this book had cooled a bit, they are back up again and will probably continue to grow as the show gets nearer.

Amazing Spider-Man #129

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #129

1st Appearance Punisher

News keeps coming out, more attention on this book.  Prices continue to grow on this already liquid Bronze Age Key issue.

Adventure Comics #256

Adventure Comics #256

Silver Age Origin of Green Arrow

Slowly building traction over the last couple of months, this book is starting to move in all grades.  Not terribly difficult to find if you do not mind low grade, but once you get to the mid grades prices really improve, as does the demand.  Seems like a sleeper book as no one is mentioning it, but sales tell a different story.

SHOWCASE #17

SHOWCASE #17

1st Appearance Adam Strange

One of the few books to be hot and in demand based solely on scarcity and possibility.  No news, no speculation to anything media related, just a great book written by Gardner Fox and an awesome cover by Gil Kane.  Try finding this book…  Seriously…  4 copies on eBay with only 1 being slabbed.

X-MEN #8 (1992)

X-MEN #8

1st Appearance Belladonna

This is a book that has just recently exploded.  Speculators putting their money into Gambit's wife turned villain.  Not sure how this one's going to pan out, but for the time being, a book to keep an eye on.

X-Men #266

Uncanny_X-Men_Vol_1_266

1st Full Appearance Gambit

Still a hot book though focus seems to shift at times, this is certainly a book that not found the price ceiling.
