Justice League of America Variants #45 & 52 – July 2010 and February 2011

Welcome back to Covers from the Unknown!

Consider this your lucky Friday! It’s a two-for-one special! This week I am going to jump on the Supergirl bandwagon and tell you about two awesome variants I have in my PC, that I believe will finally see some heat with the release of the new Supergirl show coming soon! Both are by David Mack! They are Justice League of America (2006 series) #45 and 52!

Justice League of America #45 David Mack Variant

#45 is a 1:25 variant, a Brightest Day tie-in, and the return of Supergirl (once again). With a print run of about 60,000, this variant has a print run of approximately 2,400.

Justice League of America #52 David Mack Variant

#52 is personally one of my favorites. I was a big fan of Dark Supergirl in the Superman/Batman series, and this was her return. And with Batman in the background, how can you go wrong. This one is a 1:10, and with a print run of 50,000, there are about 5,000 of these out there.

These will in no way bankrupt you if you go after them. They are on the bay and amazon, all ranging from $5 – $20. It is my belief that if Supergirl becomes a hot property the 1:25 variant might be a decent one to get. Very cool cover, and her exact costume from the tv show. Be on the lookout, and if you can grab them for a decent price, get them. You cannot go wrong.

Happy Hunting fellas!
