Turtle Takeover: News from Inside the Shell!

What’s interesting in Turtle land, you ask? We’ll skip over the obvious introductions of 1984 First Printings, the Gobbledygook #1 and #2 “Ad for TMNT” issues, and also the apparent death on Donatello, to focus on other equally interesting Turtle news.

In case you haven’t noticed, Raphael #1 One-shot from 1985 has almost doubled in value when news broke that Casey Jones will appear in the TMNT #2 movie. He makes his first appearance in this over-sized issue. Bebop and Rocksteady were also confirmed, creating a slight jump (let’s call it a hop) for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures #1 (August 1988), where they debut. This issue can easily be confused with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures Series from March 1989.

This Gold issue is for the die-hard turtles fan. It was limited to only 10 copies! If we focus on the regular edition, pictured above, it can fetch close to $100.
