The Wednesday One: Secret Wars Tie-ins For Everyone!!!

wednesday

One book to rule the week

If you could only choose one comic book to buy from all the new comics being released this Wednesday, what would it be?

We ask the staff here at ComicBookInvest.Com the same question and their answers are sometimes surprising. Made up of a wide range of comic book speculators, enthusiasts, and ne’er-do-wells, the staff prides itself on being able to identify the worthy from the unworthy each Wednesday.

Here's what they had to say this week:

Secret Wars: Battleworld #1

Secret Wars: Battleworld #1

Van D: For reading purposes it's Secret Wars:Battleworld #1. This takes me back to when I was a kid and using my various action figures in a battle arena scenario. I would pit the G.I. Joes vs Marvel Characters or DC vs MOTU, etc. Battleworld has that vibe to it. It will be a lot of fun if nothing elseMark H: Oooooooh, buddy, it's a HUGE reading week for me! The plate is too full. Secret Wars Battleworld #1. I'm all in! Love the concept of a Dr. Strange possessed Punisher. I Even bought the What If? issue he first appears in.
Planet Hulk #1

Planet Hulk #1

Mark H: Planet Hulk #1… the concept and that cover *drool* this one. I'm real excited for it…

Planet Hulk #1 Variant

Shaun H: Steve Rogers riding Devil Dinosaur battling Hulks? Count me in on Planet Hulk 1! I'm picking the variant cover though.

A-Force #1 Adam Hughes Variant

A-Force #1 Adam Hughes Variant

Bryan S: All I know is I LOVE the Hughes A-Force #1

Khoi P: Got to agree that's another knockout cover.

Thomas P: A-Force #1 Hughes cover for the spec. Medusa looks fantastic and I think it will do well over time.

Wytches #6

Wytches #6

Thomas P: Wytches #6 for the read. I'm hanging on because I like the creepiness of the story, but if they don't change the paint splotch art style I'm going to have to give up.

Keith SWytches #6 – It's the only book on my pull list this week.  Last issue, we found out the town is in cahoots with the wytches!  how's about that for being the new kids on the block…

Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars #1

Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars #1

Mike S: It's all Marvel next week for me. 2 of them are must haves. Deadpool's SS Wars and Planet Hulk. I'm not even talking variants either, the regular covers are flat out gorgeous!

Mark H: Deadpools Secret Secret Wars I'm on the fence but I'll grab #1 for sure also Masters of Kung Fu and A-Force.

Justin WDeadpool's secret war has perked my interest, Great cover too!

Spider-Verse v2 #1 Rodriguez Variant

Spider-Verse v2 #1 Rodriguez Variant

Justin W: I'll be hunting down Spider-Verse Vol 2 #1 Rodriguez Variant Cover. Deadpool's secret war has perked my interest, Great cover too!

Agustin S: Spider-Verse #1 (1:25 variant) Should be a good one. I'm still not sick of spider gwen.

Convergence #7 Amanda Conner Variant

Convergence #7 Amanda Conner Variant

Johnny R: Convergence #7 Amanda Conner variant. Love it !

Agustin S: Convergence 7 (1:25 variant)
Im liking this cover.

Master of Kung-Fu v2 #1 Variant

Master of Kung-Fu v2 #1 Variant

Keith S: Master of Kung Fu #1 Variant – Secret Wars is eating convergence's lunch, and some of these tie -ins are gonna have smaller print runs.

Spider-Verse v2 #1

Spider-Verse v2 #1

Iñigo S: I wasn't really feeling the Secret Wars tie-ins until I read all of these opinions (thanks, guys, looks like I will be spending some serious money again). The one I was going to get anyway is Spider-Verse … I enjoyed the whole event way more than I expected, but I know most of it was because of Dan Slott. Not sure this will be any good, but it's got my interest.

Oh Killstrike #1

Oh Killstrike #1

Iñigo S: Have no idea what the story is about, but the covers look really good and if the story is something like them, I think this should be right up my alley. Will take a look at the shop an decide there, but I love commentary on 90s x-treme comics …

That's it for this week. What would you buy? There can be only one!
