Scribblenauts!

In March of last year DC decided to release 1:25 Scribblenauts variant covers for some of their titles. These were all homage covers to some of DC’s more iconic back issues. One such issue was recently brought up on the community by Jason S. so I figured I would just spotlight all of them here for your enjoyment … enjoy!

The only way I’ll ever own a cover of this type is by buying the Scribblenauts version. I love cover swipes!

This was the book Jason originally brought up in his post. Cover swipes are an easier way to get the cover art to some out of reach books.

Another book from Frank Miller’s mini series gets the Scribblenaut treatment!

A perfect example of a cover swipe if I’ve ever seen one

Never liked this cover…but maybe its because I was never a big Superman fan…Batman is so much cooler in my opinion.

Hell yea batman is so much better! I agree with some of the N52 #1 swipes, could of used older soon to be classic covers, but hey, maybe in 10-120 years some of the #1 N52 covers will be classic….at least Detective Comics #1, which would of been sweet to see a scribblenauts cover swipe.

Great list again. I never realized how nice some of these connecting covers are – may have to go get those JLAs.

The Green Lantern Corps #27 looks closer to Green Lantern Corps #47 or Tales of the Green Lantern Corps #1. That’s a tricky one, for sure.
