HORRIFIC #3
(Comic Media)
Classic BULLET TO THE HEAD cover by Don Heck (Co-Creator of Iron Man, Mandarin, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Mantis, just to name a few). Incredibly difficult to find above a VG, most PCH collectors lucky enough to find this issue have tucked it away into their PC for the foreseeable future.
20 Universal copies on the CGC census with an average grade of 4.88. Should be noted that there are 5 examples above a 6.0, 2 of which are 6.5 and the top grade being a single 9.0.

PEP COMICS #22
(MLJ Magazines)
Great Irv Novick cover depicting The Shield holding back the spiked show of the Axis Powers(Showing the Japanese flag and the Swastika on the heel). Also happens to be the first appearance of Archie Andrews, Betty and Jughead. Obviously a mega Golden Age Key at this point, even incomplete copies bring big money.
10 Universal copies on the census(not a typo…TEN…) with an average grade of 4.45, the highest being a single 8.0. Needless to say this book is near impossible to find.

As always, thanks for looking, folks!
Dropping serious knowledge Ben! Can we start a contest where the winner “Gets to spend a day with Ben?” A donation and raffle, perhaps? 🙂
PEP 22 sounds extremely rare!!
Wonder who ones a copy.
I was just eyeing up horrific #3 about a week ago. GET OUT OF MY MIND BEN C!!! Definitely hard to find. Saw a Horrific #1 graded as F for $350 I would like to scoop up if I had the money.
Cool. That cover to Horrific 3 is just plain creepy. I want one but I’m afraid it might come with some bad juju.
