1 Spider-Gwen #1 (2015) Adam Hughes 1:100 Variant

WRITER: Jason Latour
ARTIST: Robbie Rodriguez
The hottest variant from the biggest breakout book of the year. Hughes and Spider-Gwen are a juggernaut combo. Throw in the fact it's a 1:100 variant, you have tinder for “hot fiyah”. These have been selling for over $300 all week with a few close to $400.

2 Sex Criminals #6 (2014) Brimpception Variant

brimpception WRITER: Matt Fraction
ARTIST: Chip Zdarksy
Of all the variants for Sex Criminals, this is going to be the toughest book to find. 100 copies in existence, I didn't even know about it until Jimmy Linguini mentioned it on his blog yesterday. Sure enough a 9.6 hit eBay yesterday and right now it's at $320 with 3 days left and tons of bidders. With the news that Universal optioned it, this book and the Eh! #1 variant will be the books to invest in right now.

3 Amazing Spider-Man #4 (2014) Humberto Ramos 1:10 Variant

WRITER: Dan Slott
ARTIST: Humberto Ramos
This book is going up every single week and deservedly so. Silk and Gwen are the hottest thing in comics, and this variant is going to be her go to book for years to come. Not to mention she got the Kim K ass on this cover to boot.

4 Ultimate Fallout #4 (2011) Djurdjevic 1:25 Variant

WRITER: Nick Spencer
ARTIST: Salvador Larroca
The more and more you hear out of the Marvel camp is they are thinking really hard about having a non-white Spider-man in the MCU. Miles Morales is a great character and, I think, would be a great alternative to white bread Parker. The book is getting stupid money right now on eBay.

Silk 1 1:25 Stacey Lee cover

5 Silk #1 (2015) Stacey Lee 1:25 Variant

WRITER: Robbie Thompson
ARTIST: Stacey Lee
This is my favorite cover of any book so far in 2015. Stacey Lee hit this one out of the park and people slept on this until our own Keith S. pointed it out a few weeks prior to release. This sold all week for $75 dollars on eBay with a few sales even higher. This book will be solid for a long time.

6 Edge of Spider-Verse #2 (2014)

WRITER: Jason Latour
ARTIST: Robbi Rodriguez
The book is getting close to hitting the $100 mark raw. NM+ of this book are difficult to find, the paper quality on these books were horrible and most copies you will find are VF+/NM-. This book has the potential to go up for years to come.

7 Wonder Woman #38 (2014) 1:100 Finch Variant

WRITER: Meredith Finch
ARTIST: David Finch
Two of these sold for over $370 last Sunday. 640 copies of this out there potentially, but how many shops ordered 100 copies of this? I highly doubt there were any more than 300 of these printed. This book is on course to hit $500 raw by the end of the month.

8 Secret Origins #10 (2015)

WRITER: Cameron Stewart
ARTIST: Irene Koh
This book snuck up on most people this week and was a $15 book on ebay by Wed afternoon. They are possibly retconning the origin of Batgirl/Oracle/Barbara Gordon and this is the book that has given us the most clues so far as to what might be happening. Most stores didn't order many hence the supply and demand being right for aftermarket prices.

Batman Adventures #12 (1993)

WRITER: Kelley Puckett
ARTIST: Mike Parobeck
With Margot Robbie revealing this week she has signed up for a multi-picture deal to play Harley Quinn this book has jumped up yet again. The casting department hit a home run in my opinion and I think Robbie is going to take Harley to the level we all hope she can reach.  There would be no Silk or Spider-Gwen if it wasn't for Harley and her popularity.

10 NEW SUICIDE SQUAD #1 (2015)  Ivan Reis 1:25 Variant

WRITER: Sean Ryan
ARTIST: Jeremy Roberts
Has anyone else noticed that this variant is now a $75 book on eBay? I didn't until a few nights ago. Variants are so risky, but books like can probably still be found at LCS for $15-20 bucks. Variants are such a gamble, but as you can see by this list, some can make you a lot of money. Suicide Squad comics won't be going down for a while. Still room for this book to grow
