Superbelle by Stanley ‘Artgerm’ Lau
Here's another recent but extremely popular sketchbook: Stanley Lau's Superbelle Vol. 1
Lau has gotten really popular due to his statues designs and his fantastic comic covers (we published a cover checklist a while back) and this was his first personal sketchbook. It came out just in time for SDCC 2014, where he took a limited print run of 50 priced at $25. Needless to say, it sold out within hours.
He has since then sold a couple of additional batches through his online store, but they disappeared within days.
Taking a look at the prices on ebay, they seem to be anywhere around $50-$90 and that's just the signed version, because you can also find sketched versions out there.
As to whether this is something you would enjoy, I guess that if you have read so far, you are at least mildly interested in the subject. Chances are that if you like his covers, you will love this sketchbook. Of course, most of it is super-heroines (there's only one male character: Gambit) smiling in different poses, so if that's your cup of tea, then you should defintely get this.
Here are some examples of what you will find in the book, but I think we all agree this guy is set to explode the moment he does a bit more of work in the comic industry:
